STEAK ! And Eggs, The Awesomely Classic Treat
We don't eat steak nearly enough in our household, mostly because the most affordable steaks in our parts are the embarrassingly thin, awful tasting, dried out mofos that I am seriously close to swearing off buying. BUT! The hubs and I made a promise to each other that I wouldn't order some expensive ass over-priced steaks from Omaha Steaks - IF - we bought some good looking steaks next time we went shopping. After one relapse into thin (WORTHLESS, AWFUL) steaks, I finally convinced myself to buy some $8, 1/4-inch steaks. and OMFG. Life changed.
This is half of the package, meaning that there's another steak dinner in my freezer that looks just as gorgeous as these fellas. WHAT?! I'm no expert, but since I was comfortable paying $8 for 2 steak dinners, this seems like a good deal, right?
Anyways, you should all know by now how Mr. Kitchen loves his eggs, and since I'm still pathetically trying to remain low-carb while devouring pancakes, I decided that the classic steak - and - eggs was the way to go. Specially-fried to his taste for him, sunny side up for me, YUMMMMBBBBO! Of course, bacon on the side, cuz what steak could work without bacon?!
