So! For the first time in the nearly 5 years that the mister and i have been together, I asked him to pick up some chicken drumsticks from the store along with the usual household staple chicken breasts. Personally, I'm not a fan of dark meat, but he always devours the drumsticks and thighs when we (occasionally) go to KFC, so I thought we'd give them a try.
For my plate, I had a fresh salad with diced tomato, tossed with lemon and salt, along with homemade pickled cucumbers and cabbage (for real yum!), roasted zucchini, roasted edamame in their homes, and half of an incredibly delicious buttered Hawaiian roll. The mister had his typical roasted corn and rolls, and even requested a few of my pickled cucumbers!
