So, the hubs was able to convince me that, since the new mac n' cheetos were coming out, we may miss our chance to try out the chicken fries ring things, so we took a well deserved trip to BK. And, to our great surprise (and craving!) the mac n' cheetos were available a week before they should have been!! So, of course, we ordered some. How could we not?!
Let me just say, I absolutely LOVE cheetos puffs. I am SO addicted to them, I seriously cannot get enough. And I also am super obsessed with KFC-style macaroni and cheese. I love that stuff. And so...I thought that this would be the #1 go to food item for me. Unfortunately, not. There was absolutely no cheetos taste AT ALL. And the mac and cheese was...ehhhh. Blah. It needed salt, or something. Maybe a cheese sauce for dipping to make it creamier? I was thoroughly disappointed after my initial excitement, but thankfully, the chicken fries ring guys saved it. Those suckers are better than any chicken nugget I have ever eaten. OMG.
Imagine, like, if you made a box of macaroni and cheese, but used water instead of the milk and butter that the recipe calls for. Then, mush it together, cover it with stale unseasoned breadcrumbs, and fry it. That's the mac n' cheese bites. I ate one, then ate my AWESOME< SUPER FAVORITE CHICKEN WHOPPER, then some super incredible chicken ring thingys, then decided to try out another mac and cheetos thing to be super. And yeah, i was sure. I didn't even finish it, it was that bad. If you know me, yuo'd know that I ALWAYS clear my plate. But that....unacceptable.
Food is my absolute passion. The highlight of my day is when I get to cook, and especially eat. I'm super simple. I don't have crazy fancy ingredients. I just try to cook delicious, healthy (most of the time) meals for my mister and I.
