Now, would you ever believe that I've never homemade lasagna before, that I've only ever used frozen brands? Or, especially, would you believe that this started out as a homemade ravioli attempt?
BUT all that I had was my dried noddles, which I boiled while fixing my "ravioli" stuffing. After trying to use my adorable eBay-purchased dumpling maker:
The mozzarella - it was a block that I had in my freezer for months, I only had to let it sit in my fridge for about a day to defrost. I cut it into various chunks, slices, and wannabe shreddedness.
The ground beef: Also a random frozen item that I pulled out and was a mixture of ground beef ranging from 80/20 to 94/6. Some random "meat sauce" that I found in my freezer (made with homemade pasta sauce) was also mixed in, with the tomatoey-ness originally intended for ravioli filling.
- 1/2 pound of ground beef

- like, 1/2 mozzarella cheese, or more if you prefer
- a little more than half a jar of your favorite pasta sauce or marinara
- about 1/6 onion, sliced super thin and small
- onion powder, garlic powder, garlic salt, a bit of italian seasoning
- parmesan cheese
